Talking stories

This monthly gathering at India Peace Centre is about the exchange of various stories that are related to the objectives of IPC. We discuss about peace, justice, and environment related topics. “Talking Stories” is telling and hearing stories, analysing and discuss. This review and storytelling sessions shall be a place to exchange about ideas and good stories and also discuss, what we might learn from each other.

Coffee and peace

Coffee and Peace is a unique program with a purpose to engage in dialogue / conversation / arts / music / discussion / review of books and films on issues related to peace which happens over Coffee. This gives the attendees the opportunity to share their ideas and learn from others. Students, youth, academicians, faith leaders, social workers, professionals meet once a month to discuss on issues the earth is confronted with.

Observing international days

From peace to human rights, water to health, women´s rights to climate: The India Peace Centre is observing international and local action days on a diverse range of topics with webinars and on-campus discussions.

School of peace

The School of Peace is a training program by the India Peace Centre designed to educate youth and students on peace education. It is based on the belief that peace is multidimensional, extending beyond the mere absence of war, and reflects life, dignity, and integrity. The objective is to emphasize values such as peace with justice, intercultural and inter-religious harmony, environmental care, and the promotion of life with dignity and integrity.

Face to face

Face to Face brings together people of all kinds of different backgrounds from around the world to create a space for the exchange of viewpoints. Members from our partners meet in Nagpur and various other places in India with the goal to reach interfaith and international understanding.

Capacity building programme

This Peace Leaders Training educates participants on finance and asset management as well as social media usage under the umbrella of interfaith peace leadership. Addressing social issues and those within the social organization is key in this programme to learn how to resolve them.

South Asia Youth Consultation

The SAYC is a five day intercultural collective of diverse youth from selected countries in South Asia focusing on faith reflections. Members of the conference get to know ethnic identities from different history, heritage and hegemonies and find commonalities in their art and culture. Celebrating unique identities that complement cultures is part of this program which also involves visits to places of historic importance and tourist attractions in India.
